Unexpected end of JSON input

The parser reached the end of the text while a string, list or object was still open. The JSON was cut off: a copy that missed the last lines, a log line cut at a length limit, or a download or response that stopped partway. In Chrome and Node.js, JSON.parse gives this message when the text stops where a value should come next, and for empty text, such as a response with no body. Cut off at other points, the same problem can read "Unterminated string" or "Expected ',' or ']' after array element".

Fix it by hand

Get the complete JSON again if you can. If only the end is missing, close each open ", [ and { in reverse order, and check that no data was lost.
